What is funny is Roger Goody Two Shoes allowed Gordon to practice with the team during his suspension as he deserved another "chance"..
Not sure what the big deal is. The league did something similar with Aldon Smith. You are comparing apples and oranges. One player was accused of bending the on-field rules and deflating footballs, the other was dealing with substance abuse problems.

I can totally see where Goodell is coming from, because if you're dealing with substance abuse issues, you want that player to stay occupied and be around a support system to mitigate the chances of him relapsing.

I know we want to make Goodell out to be a lunatic tyrant that plays favorites, but I can totally see how he could rationalize the punishment parameters for these two scenarios.

Brady is a serial cheater. Belichick and the Patriots are recovering serial cheaters. Brady's time away from BB and the team will, in all likelihood, result in him cheating again while he's away. If he were allowed contact with the recovering BB and his recovering teammates, his prognosis for success in overcoming his cheating tendencies would be greatly enhanced.

Uh...no.We DON'T. Goodell has done this all on his own. He IS a lunatic tyrant. WE only acknowledge this FACT.

BEREA, Ohio -- An arrest warrant for Josh Gordon was withdrawn after the Cleveland Browns wide receiver complied with a year-old court order to take a DNA test in a paternity suit.

The warrant had been issued Aug. 31, after Gordon failed to respond to several subpoenas over the course of a year demanding he take the test.

In a statement, Gordon's attorneys said he was unaware until noon Wednesday that he had been requested to take the test.

"Mr. Gordon immediately made himself available to the Court when he was informed that his presence had been previously required," attorneys Kevin Spellacy and Walter Edwards wrote in a statement released by the Browns. "He attended court [Wednesday] and a hearing was held."
