I have no problems with Richards on STs. He can do that job....we just found an elite guy is all.

I kind of feel Bad for Richards I must be getting soft.

He won national scholar-athlete awards while earning a degree in public policy from Stanford, has been active as a community volunteer since long before he entered the NFL, and is planning on pursuing a graduate degree in education to become a teacher.
That doesn't make him a good NFL safety, of course. But given some of the ugly characters in this league, seeing so much personal vitriol against one of the real good guys is kind of a shame.
