He did well. Nice to see. If he can play within himself like this in the next 3 games they could easily be 4-0...we're probably looking at 3 more close games that will be entertaining to watch and perhaps the identity of the Pats as a team that "outlast" the opponent will re-emerge. Everyone here seems to expect 50-burger blowouts every week...or else the team sucks. They have the best roster and best coaching in the league. That's a huge advantage and they just need to do their **** and it's often a coin flip at the Final 4 at the end. But now I've rambled. Jimmy was better than I thought he'd be week one. Fumble could've happened to anyone, and there weren't any super ridiculous throws that suggest he can't read/understand what he's seeing defensively (just some mis-throws, or whatever you wanna call them). Quite an excellent job for him and by the coaching staff for managing his development to this point. The challenge now is to keep that up even with what they really are going to do with him being on tape.

Garropolo actually looked really good out there. Poised in the pocket, can run with his legs, fast release, mostly accurate throws, good reads, I don't think he did anything wrong. With a banged up O-line and no Gronk, I think he did beyond expectations. Great game for him. The important thing now is to keep it up in the next three games.

Outside of the fumble, Jimmy had a very good game. I love his poise. He extended a few play by moving around and didn't throw too many dumb passes. He played smart and made the plays he had to make.
