If only one team gets busted - especially a good team - there's really no comparison standard.
But this recent Jets caper sort of puts a fine point on how the Pats respond to adversity.
Yes, it's motivation - but no other team in the NFL under similar circumstances would respond as we did.
And in the unlikely event the Jets DO actually win this weekend... which I rank as just a smidgen more likely than all life on Earth being wiped out by a giant asteroid impact... I'll be glad to come right back and eat my words (not to mention admit to singlehandedly jinxing the perfect season.)
