I look at it as more of a mid-term move. If it pays off sooner, great, but no need. Marshall, Decker and Q are good/big enough to make up for a lack of TE.

But yeah we don't have a TE. Not one TE target yet this season I think. So this potentially saves an early draft pick next year.

First things first though. Get the guy on the right path. Then worry about football.

Oh come on now, you know you do. You're like the 2nd grade boy picking on a girl because he secretly likes her.

Closet Jet fan?

More like the second grade boy that puts a booger on a girl because he wants her to go away because she's being annoying asking him to see his notebook because he just got an A in the last test.

(Based on life experiences....)

You really think Tune was an "A" student?

Booger flicking I can see. Top student?.. eh, that's a stretch.

"My life is ovah. We got the freakin 2 seed."

"Ahahahaha it's funny cuz it's true!"

"The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1945 and dominated the AAFC, compiling a 47–4–3 record in the league's four seasons and winning its championship every year. When the AAFC folded, the Browns joined the NFL and won a championship in their inaugural NFL season, as well as in the 1954, 1955, and 1964 seasons. From 1965 to 1995, they made the playoffs 14 times."

The Jets WISH they were the Cleveland Browns.

I've never liked that people ignore the pre Super Bowl era. But, the Jets can certainly be compared to the new Cleveland Browns .

Really, without Joe Namath, they are still just the Jets. Comparison to any other team is an act of injustice to the players, past and present, and fans of that team.

Just goes to show the depth of their ignorance, that they'd be unaware of the Brown's run of excellence, and extraordinary players.
