Three years ago, Mark ****ing Sanchez threw the ball to Tim ****ing Tebow on a flat route and hit him in the back of his helmet.

Today, our quarterback situation is somehow even worse.

BTA, You might want to put some quote marks around those italics, just so some newbie doesn't confuse you with the enemy. LOL

You are exactly right. They're a lot more stupid than they look.

Meanwhile ...

The Jets and their fans have to act like they prefer Gee-No just in case Fitzy doesn't come back. It doesn't get much better than that.

Fitzy could be using the contract squabble to get more time off from camp, but I don't think so. He has the Jets on the ropes.

And on top of it all, the Jets still suck.

Having Bowles there somehow takes part of the fun away for me. He has proven to be a decent, level headed coach so far. No nonsense, no whining, etc. Big change from what we're used to with Rex having been there in the past.

True -- he's far too good for them. But, so long as they have Woody and those slime-dwelling fans, the Jets will still be the Jets.

Yeah, I've been mulling over his impact on that band of almost professional football players. I have some concerns that he may well be the catalyst for changing up the attitudes and mindsets of that den of layabouts, braggarts, and ne're-do-wells. Right now, and likely for another season or two, they remain basically like a guy with ten fingers who can't figure out how to turn them into two fists.

Just remember, Gee-No!'s broken jaw occurred under his watch. Maccagnan is no better than any of his predecessors at finding a quarterback and the team is in cap trouble thanks partly to the head clown remaining in charge:

That deal will come very quickly once Jets brass gets a peak at Geno's decision making and leadership skills up close and personal again.

Jets prediction: 6-10

I really hope you are wrong. I'm a surprised Denver didn't go after him.

The Jets may be a dangerous team with a competent adult as their head coach.

On the other hand, they are taking a big risk if their decision to replace the QB and RB from a 10-6 team backfires on them. They can't use the excuse that they don't have the pieces on offense and defense for this to be a playoff team. If the offense takes a step back because Forte breaks down or the QB play isn't as good*, then Bowles will be facing some heat about why he couldn't make the playoffs with Revis, Wilkerson, Brandon Marshall, Decker, etc.

*This might be the case even if the re-signed Fitzpatrick in the spring. It's tough to expect a 33 year old journeyman QB to repeat a career-best season.

well, Jet fan should at least look on the bright side of things...with Futzy signed, Gee-No! can look forward to becoming the spokesman for "Crack Lives Matter!"...
I think you're confusing this with Jets fans' crap, lies and blather.
