Jets Hiring Adam Gase as new HC

Well, look at it this way - Gase has had a few successful games against the Pats and on average gets his team to 8-8. That's a big win in the Jets book, although I laughed out loud when I hear this news.

Adam Gase to the Jets. 23-26 career record as head coach. Lots of experience as an OC. You know, the Jets should have signed McCarthy and they still could have had Gase as OC to work with Darnold.

So the way it stands in the AFC East is
Bills: Sean McDermott 15-17
Jets: Adam Gase 23-26
Dolphins (looking only at coordinators) 0-0
Patriots: Bill Belichick 261-123

Combined the other AFCE coaches are only 223 wins behind BB. They are much closer in losses - only 80 losses behind.

The Jest/Jete hire Adam Gase? Wow!

I make fun of how unimaginative Mike McCarthy is on offense, but good lord Gase is bad.

Adam Gase is the new Jeff Fisher

I had to look it up. Miami won the SB twice, so the Jets aren't even that.

And if you add the AFL days, they also trail the Bills (2 AFL championships) and the Houston Oilers (2 AFL championships as members of the AFL East).

You're right. The beat the Skins 14-7 in SB7.
