o4 is on the top of the list .you know it and i know it .your going to have to learn to deal with your humilation and stop being such a pu-sy your whole life lol
Let me break it down to you since your self absorbed and wrapped up in the Red SOx only hint of success this century.
1)Up to the 2001 World Series the Yanks had never let me down, yeah they lost in 97 but it was in the first round and they had not built up the invincible ora they later created
2)It was the greatest closer of all time who had never blown a save in as big a spot as this. MO was invincible, this proved he was human
3)That was the night the dynasty officially ended. No more Knoblauch, O'Neill, Brosius, Tino leaves. Still trying to return to well known familiar names as oppossed to hired guns
4)Game 7 World Series great game great pitching duel lost on the last hit of the game
5)it was a painful experience all at once, mariano throws in center, womack down right field, gonzo over jeter's head. It was one after another in a span of 15 minutes
6)The beginning of the hired gun era officially: That series marked the end of the farm system Yanks, Giambi was brought in as the hired gun for an offense which struggled to score runs. The Yanks axed one of my fav players of all time for Giambi who I did not want at the time. Tino should have never left
7)I was so heartbroke by the 04 ALCS that I rooted for the Red Sox in the World Series? It was like watching a little brother finally beat the older one, I was happy for my friedns who suffered w/ the Red ox for so long. Of course there was disappointment but Boston beat us and lead by a great guy for baseball and likeable person in David Ortiz.
My top 5 fav players in baseball: 1)Jeter 2) Mariano 3)Reyes 4)Ortiz 5)Dontrelle Willis
Notice two are Mets and Red Sox players
I know you will make some dumbass remark b/c you are incapable of holding an intelligent conversation, but thats why 01 worldseries>04 ALCS to me. Meaning it is my opinion which can not be proved wrong. When you go back in time and become a Yanks fan and experience both then you can tell me how to feel. But the 04 ALCS does hurt a lot
