Yeah exactly. It looks like maybe Slauson gets angry for the half-hearted block Cushing throws at him for some strange reason. Definitely a cheap shot tho. Nasty stuff.

It appears that Slauson was late on m=outtign a good block to the 2nd level player (Cushing) and he was trying to close off any backside pursuit vand that cushing was movign away from him.

Still, he definitely lowered his helmet for that to make first contact rather than leading with his should and rolled with the dive that would cause the players legs to be put under additional strain.

Even that wouldn't really be a proportionate punishment, since he sucks anyway. Although his backup (Ducasse) does suck even worse.

Wow, is there a wider shot of that? It looks very deliberate from that angle but I can't see if anyone knocked Slaussen into Cushing from that shot. What a scumbag move if deliberate.

Watch the first 10 seconds of this video. Slaussen missed two blocks on the play, was 5 yards up field then turned around and took out Cushings knee not close to the action. If that's not a dirty play (and fineable) I don't know what is.
