Why would BB want an underweight DE who plays best in a 4-3 defense? It's not like we're short of talent on the defensive line.

Miami ran a 3-4 variation this year and last year.

Now if BB wants to switch to the 4-3 and have a front line of Taylor, Warren, Wilfork, and Seymour, with Tedy in the Middle and Colvin and Vrabel on the outside, sign me uip!

Taylor retiring would be great, he has wore out the Pats over the years, I would love to see him as a Pat, but I highly doubt that the Phins would ever let that happen.

Sorry, damn birds woke me up...Miami has been playing a 3-4 the past two years - thats part of why Saban grabbed Dom Capers for his DC. Taylor is moving around lining up at OLB, DE, ILB, SS and having a blast being Mike Vrabel in aquamarine. Whatever deeply considered words he's had on the subject in the past, his coaches induced him to try something new, and the sack wacky bastich liked it to the tune of 13 sacks, 9 forced fumbles, and two interceptions/fumble recoveries for TDs. Shawn Merriman, turn the lighs out.

It must be really hard to work your a s s off year after year, only to be stuck on a team where they never have a QB, and thus never have a chance to go anywhere. Ironically, as much as Taylor has killed the Pats, seeing them moving into the post-season year after year while he sits home must be killing him.

FTW - I don't care what Taylor has said in the past, I can tell you where he's been actually playing this year. Taylor has been playing DE and OLB this year. Similar to the way McGinest was used. Not sure where you get otherwise.

I love how you just won an argument with yourself. Does this happen often, or do you just do so you can win one? What is it that you do not understand about Box's post? Do you ignore that FACT that Miami runs a 3-4 or do you just like to make believe they run a 4-3?
