I like this quote:
"Such is the case for the San Francisco 49ers. The organization has done a tremendous job assembling all the pieces to be a playoff challenger. Imagine Tom Brady, Donovan McNabb or Peyton Manning at the helm of the 49ers. Truth be told, a guy like Chad Pennington would be the right guy for the Niners."
What? Are you kidding me? Yeah, the Niners have studs at reciever such as Darrell Jackson and Arnez Battle. Yes, Jackson has done well in the past with the Seahawks. But more recently, he has had many drops and gets injured often. Apparrently the Seahawks felt he wasn't going to be much of threat towards them, so they dumped him to a division rival for a fourth rounder. Isn't that what the Pats got Randy Moss for? I can't remember when or where I read it from but I like how the Niners came out and said they turned down the opprotunity to acquire Moss for a 4th rounder. Ha! Even the Niners accepted the trade, you think Moss would really restructure his contract to play for the Niners? And want to catch passes from Alex Smith? Vernon Davis has talent, but some people said that he is T.O. part 2. Don't even get me going with Battle and the rest of their WR's. I don't think even the best QB's in the league could do much with their recieving core. Also, their defense is overrated. Banta-Cain is a liability which every team tries to attack. Manny Lawson (someone who I wanted if the Patriots didn't take Maroney) is seen chasing running backs from behind alot. It's too bad he got injured but he hasn't been that great so far. Minus Bryant Young, they may have the worst D-line in the league. Pretty stupid how they put all their eggs in a basket and signed Clements to that 60-80 million dollar contract. Signing one CB isn't going to make your "team" better. Their safeties can hit, that's about it. However, I love Patrick Willis. That guy's a stud. The Cardinals made them look decent. St. Luis is pathetic. The got smashed against good offenses such as the Steelers and the Seahawks.
