Assuming he passes, vet min is $900k, around 52k a week.

I'd like to see what he has left in the tank. If he can rush the passer on obvious pass rushing situations, the patriots could use him. But, I am pretty skeptical that he can contribute. The Steelers pass rush has been meh.

I'm not saying he's done, although he probably either is done or can see done from where he's standing. I'm just pointing out that James Harrison hasn't cracked his team's game day lineup very often this year, and has mostly done nothing on those few occasions when he has.

Blount worked out fine because he had already had 1 season in the system. So there was no organizational structure shock to him.

Harrison on the other hand 15 years in the Steelers organization and the 1 year he wasn't he was with the BUNGLES.

I know that normally you would take to time to explain to a poster that we do indeed have a pass rush (showing pressures etc) and also that the Pats are a team that asks its ends to set the edge. Given that, there is going to be less aggressiveness from them.

Because it is more important to win games, then get lots of sacks..

Agreed, although they made it well known prior to the season that he would no longer be starting. I suppose they should’ve given him more relief reps, but here are the 4 LBs playing in front of him:

Shazier (first rd pick)
Dupree (first rd pick)
Watt (first rd pick)
Williams (picked off Brady last week)
