Nice try, Monsignor. Making even a veiled equality comparison between the behavior you described attributed to Harrison, admittedly despicable, and the behavior attributed to Carruth, for which he was convicted in a court of law (premeditated murder of an unborn infant and its mother) is ridiculous.

Does he have anything left? Lord knows the D needs the help if he does.
The vast majority believe he has something to offer. He fell out of favor in Pitt, because Butler wants coverage backers, and Watt and Dupree are playing well. Harrison wants playing time, and voiced his displeasure. He can rush the passer, and play the run. That's what he'll be doing here I'd bet.

I say turn him loose against Bryce Petty this week, and let him get comfortable and pumped back up a bit. If he’s able to apply some pressure and rack up a sack or two next month, it should be considered a success. He’s gotta be pretty cheap so there should be some value there.

deus....you are clearly a super smart guy.......possibly a genius

since this is justifiably bothering you given the degrading historical treatment of african americans.....and the loathsome "evolutionary" implication of your comments to this man

i promise you'll feel a lot better about it if you make things right

and we would all be proud of you
Oh boy.
Exit, stage right.

Wrong forum.

I have an opinion on this, but this is not the place.
Let's keep it foot ball.

You say attributed like it's a matter of opinion. It's a fact. They are both scumbag thugs. Yes, most people would consider one worse than the other. Harrison still has time. Anybody think OJ was capable of doing what he did? It's not a huge leap from that level of domestic violence to being capable of murder. The point was not to compare them. The point was to illustrate that Bill will sign anyone. He has proven over and over that character is meaningless to him. It's disgusting.

Sey was overrated?

Robert tarnishing Myras memory?

I find the term "virtue signaling" sort of ******ed, sort of Orwellian. That said, we had a murderer on the team, a straight-up plain old murderer. Granted, we cut him when we found out he was a murderer. I don't think the Pats can claim they are running an organization that will find out every detail of the players' free time, nor do I think the NFLPA lets anybody do that.

I'd really love it if everybody behaved like Mike Brady from the Brady Bunch, or failing that, Tom Brady, after the whole "OMG he dumped Bridget Moynihan" thing. Not the part about the actor who played Mike Brady's orientation, I mean his sense of squeaky-clean morality. I would, really. Also, don't sign people with tattoos dabnabbit. And can we get some trust falls up in here for training camp?

Don't be stoopit. If you're into the Pats because you believe they were once some kind of holy cathedral of Dudley Dooright goodness in the NFL, I'm sorry, but while that's a desirable aspect that any team would wanna have, the "Patriot Way" we've learned about is mental toughness, team-first, no excuses, no distractions. Play to win, do your job, play within yourself. If you're a star be a dependable star, if you're a "dependable," you might end up the star in a big moment - be ready for that situation. Be ready for all situations.

They're adults when they get there. I am sure they get told don't break any laws, and I'm sure there are trainings on that especially rookie year. You only need one wife, or girlfriend. Blah blah blah.

But you sort of trust your adult football players to comport themselves in accordance with the law. BB doesn't have a past as a wannabe priest like Lombardi -- but I know he does preach taking people as they come, along with the situation when they're off the field (not "accept whatever crap they come with," more like realize that you can't carve off football, that a whole life is rising or falling in front of you.) But the difference is, I don't think BB specializes in reclaiming whole lives to get the football part.

That said, ten years ago Harrison screwed up from what I can tell from a brief read here. Not bad enough that he's out of football or under arrest. So I dunno how the team's besmirched by signing him.

Maybe I need to study up more on who did what when off the field. But unless this guy has corpses buried out front by the rose garden or some ****, the question is what he can do on the field.

Suprised the Rams didn't take a run at him. They just IRd a pass rusher today.

A number of teams could have used him. Iggles, Chiefs, Vikes, Ravens....

All passed...and he chose us.

Might be kind of a respect/ cover your ass thing...Can't see anyone claiming him on waivers, for fear he might not wanna be there...he's earned the right to choose his team. Just my opinion.

He is old but I think he can still make plays. Hopefully this is not a sign of the team is pessimistic that KVN wont be ready to return this year.

There is no precedent for an old player having any success on this team! OMG!

Oh wait that's right.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Harrison. Don't do anything you'll have to blame on CTE later, and the avocado ice cream is in the freezer in the corner.
