Jacksonville the biggest threat?

I dont think any team so terribly balanced will be an issue. There really is no team in the AFC that I am really concerend about if we dont kill ourselves with turnovers or busted coverages.

The SB -- if we get there -- might be the first time where we will really feel the absence of Hightower.

The Jags are the one AFC team that would give New England some problems. Steelers offense gets exposed every January, and they’ve had better defenses in the past that Brady has dominated. Plus I would even put the Jags over them as well (that 30-9 punking they did on them was no fluke.)

I’m not saying the Jags will beat New England. I’m saying they are a possible legit threat to them, unlike the Steelers.

They’re the most equipped team in the AFC to give this offense trouble. They’re built like the 2009-2010 Jets and the 2015 Broncos. They don’t have to send extra rushers to pressure Brady and can do it up the the A and B gaps, where he hates it. The problem for them is Bortles will eventually Bortles and Fournette will be contained. The Patriots no longer have the ****bag defense that plagued them against those Jets teams.

To be fair, we thought "Sanchez will eventually Sanchez" and "FrankenManning will eventually FrankenManning" for those teams as well.

If the Patriots were to play the Jaguars, I do not think the Jaguars offense would be good enough to win the game if the defense could not force a turnover. I do not think the AFC right now is very good outside of the Patriots, but things can change in the coming weeks

Lets take a deeper look
The titans are a grade A pretender, Their offensive line is no where near as good as last year and the defense still stinks.

The ravens, Hahahaha Do I even need to go into detail

Take the afc east and throw it out the window.

The chiefs? thats a team in free fall right now. hard to like them right now. An offensive football team with a struggling offense

San diego? Ehh some people buy in. I dont. Another dumpster fire O line. Defense is okay. I just don't think they are that good.

That leaves us with the Pittsburgh steelers. I generally like what I have seen from that defense this year, But what about that offense??? Bell is still a workhorse but he just doesnt look as good this year as Ive seen him in the past. Same goes for the entire offense. I think week 15 decides home field, But maybe Im giving the steelers too much credit, thinking they will win all of there other games. We obviously know How well Brady matches up with pittsburgh, but this Pitt defense is probably the best one he will face since 2010 or 2011. I still think Pittsburgh is probably the team with the best chance; I like feeling that way given our past against them

Their defense is playing really well, but with Bortles as their starting qb, I don't think of them as the biggest threat, especially after watching them against San Diego in a game that they should have lost.

I would still say that KC and Pitt would be the biggest threat. KC has beaten us once and always seems to play us well and Pitt because of their offensive talent.
I'll give them that the Chargers have been the only team that has given us any trouble over the last month. So I don't think that their ugly win over is as ugly as you may think.

Something to wonder about. I was thinking what would happen if the Pats and Jags finish with the same record and if the Pats beat Pitt?

Both would be 13-3... Both would have beaten Pitt taking away that tie breaker...

I think the conference record would be the same too. It would then come down the strength of victory..

The Pats are right now +87 and the Jags are +104 (17 point difference).

If the Pats don't change that the Jags could get the first seed if this happens.

Now if the Pats go 13-3 losing to Pitt and the Jags and Pitt are 13-3 too it gets really crazy haha.

If the Jags had somebody who resembled an actual NFL QB, then they would clearly become our biggest threat.

Because I still don't 100% trust this defense (the pass rush, and the players trying to create it with the exception of Tre Flowers, suck), the ****sberg Stealers are still our biggest threat, especially at Pitsdirt.

I would rather play JAX than play PITT or KC in the AFC Championship Game.
