It's people Jack Jones on why kids find guns at home and get shot.

Careless not knowing where your firearms are. Ignorant not knowing which way they are pointed. Moronic to not have a clue if they are loaded.

The handguns looked like Glocks from the photo which are set to go off. Plaxico Burress shot himself with a Glock because they are so hair triggered.

Can't fix stupid.

Right, I was not as clear as I should have been. The real issue for JJ is that the judge could consider the Panda incident a first offense making him a repeat offender with a second offense as opposed to a first time offender where the previous misdemeanor is not applicable.
I think it could be an issue, there are a couple of factors to consider about it. First is that it’s more likely a question of whether the prosecutor will consider it. Principle of judicial restraint seems to say judge will consider what prosecutor presents, not prosecute the case for him. Second is that this comes into play in the endgame and if it’s a major issue by then the earlier parts of the case have already been lost. Seems to me the bigger question will be whether the prosecutor sees JJ as a lifestyle thug or as the product of an unfavorable environment he needs help putting behind him. That’s the key battle for Jack’s defenders.

Haven't we cut that clown yet?? Let's move on please. I didn't think it would be possible to see someone even more stupid than A Hernandez in my lifetime. Jack@ss have taken that spot in the dictionary.

Ah yes, the over-zealous pursuit of a single citizen on drummed-up firearm charges, with an opportunist tinge because of the media swirl it makes.

Aaron Hernandez literally murdered people. Conflating the two as if they're even in the same orbit is beyond hyperbole.

The fact that Jones has not been cut already, could mean that the Patriots are not too excited about the 3 CBs they drafted....Gonzo seems like a shoe-in, but I have/had high hopes for the other two since the Patriots are good at finding late round gems at this position.

He isn't getting cut because what he did would simply be a fine in 40 other states. A literal congressman tried to get on a plane twice with a loaded gun and the only punishment he got was a $250 fine.

I hear your impatience and request for high standards. Pro sports in general aren't going to go there with you. The commissioners will act like it, but there is too much talent in place that would get removed.

Not really, he lost his re-election attempt.

Good. Just as a safety issue, having a loaded gun on a hyper-crowded, thin metal and glass tube, at hundreds of miles and hour, miles in the sky, being handled and jostled by multiple people is...
