I've really got to wonder if some of you

I agree with the general sentiment of the OP, but, the main difference is for the last 15-16 years, TB was always the 'franchise' QB. Maybe TB can play at an elite level for a few more years, but in 2008, we knew he would be back and would still be great-elite for years to come.

In 2017 and onwards, major injury and he is done. Concussion, and he is done. Drop off in performance and he is done.

Thus, 2017 and 2018 is to maximize the team during TB's remaining 'elite' window. Other than maybe RB (and Center), this team has elite playmakers and incredible depth at almost every offensive position. BB knows he cannot waste TB's window.

I never thought otherwise and doubt many of us did. But if you're listening to Felger & Mazz, I can understand why you posted this

nope, gave up on sports talk years ago, aside from a few NFL Network shows on satellite that I like....

but I have seen more than one here commenting on all in for brady's last few years

i don't see it, as i said, just more evolution of BB and taking the best route available

they had $60m in cap space and still have quite a bit left ($30 m??) .Far from going all in.... Yet at least
