When the SB is played the combined records of the two teams playing will be 35-1!

This will be due to the statistical aberration that the Patriots can't lose to themselves. This will be talked about in the winter meetings.

Well given the fact the AFC championship could be between two teams with a combined record of 32-2

And the NFC championship decided between teams with a combined record of
31-3.

The notion of parity will be busted.

It would take a helluva lot more than one season to break the idea of parity in the NFL. When you look at the teams in the playoffs from year to year, there is a huge sample to back the counter.

Parity in the NFL is not about every team being 8-8, it is about every team having the necessary resources (salary cap, draft picks, etc.) to field a competent and competitive team. Some teams are just better at it than others.

Parity doesn't mean every team goes 8-8 every year.

It means that two years after a team goes 3-13 they can go 13-3 and then back down to 4-12.

Parity means every team is two years away from being a SB contender. Parity means nobody goes to the playoffs more than 5 times in a decade. And parity means everybody goes to the playoffs at least once a decade.

Patriots have already busted the notion of parity.

Modified as noted.

Polian's screaming about the chuck rule changed the balance between the O and D. BB realized he had to go with the flow, gets the tools to allow the PAts O to dominate.

IOW the Polian rules make the QB more important than ever before in the NFL, Polian did this cause he had Manning, problem for him is, Brady is better. All the contenders have good QB's
