Something tells me there will be no shortage of posters willing to reject objective reality on this point anyway.
As in you agree or disagree with me?

Totally stupid of the Jets to drop 2 whole spots to draft an OT for the sake of a franchise QB...
It's totally stupid to do a pick swap and send along a 2nd this year and a 2nd next year that can become a 1st based on playing time, and pay him the better part of $60M just to hope the 39 year old guy who spent four days in a cave trying to figure out if he still wanted to play football will still want to play football after seeing how da Jete OL performs.

Of course many people here prefer to project their misery onto the Patriots instead of admiring the Jets stupidity, but there's no accounting for taste (or the lack of it).

It’s a ton to give up but the Jets have a playoff window now.
We are waiting to see if Mac sees his shadow and runs back to the bench.
Let's see if Aahole runs back into a deep dark cave after playing a week behind the Jets OL.
(No, this isn't a Lily joke).

A 2nd this year and highly likely a late 1st in 2024 for a QB with a massive hit on the cap…..expensive!

But the Jets are going from Zach Wilson to Rodgers…..that is a massive upgrade. In the Marcus Jones PR TD game…the Jets couldn’t even get the ball past the 50 yard line. In week 3 or 4 in GB…we lost with Zappe because of one big throw Rodgers made basically….

7-5
57.2%
18 TD
7 INT
238.7 YPG
86.3 QB Rating
25 Sacks

That's his career against the 3 other teams in the division

Pats winning 7 games this year, 2-4 in the Division.

We still have the draft and midseason trades.
However if we don’t net 2 more playmaking WRs, a pass catching back.
A upgrade at QB a sturdy O line. Pass defending lbs a space eater nose tackle, a Punter.
A shut down CB dear god this list is astronomical.

Also clearly have the worst QB in the division with the worst weapons.

I can agree with QB sadly my eyes don’t lie.
Have faith in Bourne Thornton Gesicki, Hopefiloy we have a plan for Smith Shuster.
None of these WRs are 1s.

Jets have 2 1’s
Dolphins have 2 1’s
Bills a 1.5
We have a bunch of third rate WRs
I really Believe the middle rounds you can get Mingo and Wheaton or Andreas in the 5th range.

I think it’s imperative we walk away with 2 good WRs whether we trade for Jeudy or not,
In this NFL if you have a weapon at QB you are in every game.
That’s why I think the price to trade up for that QB is well worth it.
Don’t tell me we can’t Move on from Mac he’s just in his third season.
AZ saw it with Rosen.
NYJ saw it with Wilson
Niners see Lance isn’t who they thought he would be.
Redskins saw it with RG3
Rams saw it with Goff who got them to a frickin SB.
If you don’t have one you have nothing.

Is it too early for the Pats to start tanking for Arch Manning?

Without injuries to the other 3 AFC East teams, the Pats will be lucky to go 2-6 in the division.

I agree with you. But I'm also sure around week 6 Ian will put together a post with a handful of Mac's good plays, gaslighting us into believing he's better than everyone else in the AFC.
A positive hope would be that Tua comes back to earth and Rodgers is too lazy to reinvent himself at a new place almost in his 40s. Both definitely possible

Arch Manning hasn't played a snap of college ball yet...so yeah way too early.
