Can anyone tell me how in the world they took away that Matt Ryan TD?

I have no idea whatsoever.
They said as he was diving toward the end zone with no one near him that he was giving himself up

Falcons stink.

Looks like Patriots will be @ Buffalo, for 1st round of playoffs....

Maybe they'll be another monsoon.
I’m fine with that. Line up vs the opponent’s and play their best football vs ours. May the best team win. At this point beggars can’t be choosers, Pats had control of the 1 seed and blew it. Now they have to take the 1985 route. Other teams have done it, why not us?
Regardless future is looking bright, just really hoping for a JC Jackson signing to keep it going next season.

I agree they will choke, but Allen makes them a different animal. He's a top 5 QB in this league, hungry, has a chip on his shoulder, and hasn't figured out yet that Buffalo is probably one of the worst markets to spend your career in. Once they lose a few more time in the playoffs and he starts looking around the league at what he could have elsewhere, then they're done. Until that happens, that dude is unique in Bills history. They've never had a QB like him, ever.
Um, disagree.

They've had better.

lol, ya ok... which one of those 5 was better than Allen is right now? None of them was ever a better passer, and only Flutie could offer anything close to dual threat. Allen is the best they've had, and I hope he gets disillusioned there or has a contract dispute that takes him out of town.

Bring on round 3. Let’s Go!

Allen is a beast. His main weakness is that he sometimes becomes inaccurate and is not a great touch passer. But damn - I saw him hurdle a guy. Great arm - great athlete and fearless. But lets be honest Patriots have a good defense and he made them look hopeless and awful.

He had his best game of the year against us. Can he keep it up? Remains to be seen.

I think people with even weak arms and efficient can win Superbowls in Pats’ system. Chad Pennington would have won a SB with us. Or Alex Smith. Mistake free football.

Also it’s not clear not me that Mac Jones’ arm is that much weaker. Not clear to me he’s been asked to make deep throws that he’s underthrowing.
He can make deep throws - he is what they call a high effort thrower though.

If he gets his feet set - has some space to step into it - he can throw it 60-65 yards. But guys like Allen can be kinda scrambling around - going backwards and throw it 40 yards across the field.

This is totally normal - like Matt Ryan - Mac Jones is not really the biggest guy. I am amazed he even weighs 217 - looks more like 207.. People always get defensive when you point out Mac's only real flaw - lack of arm strength. But ask yourself who has a weaker arm then he does as an NFL starter? Matt Ryan? Jimmy G? Lamar Jackson? Kirk Cousins? I honestly don't know..

During this offseason I hope he works on his mechanics and physical strength to develop more power. Already he has pretty good mechanics according to Tom House.. But who knows - maybe there are still some low hanging fruit with regards to his throwing motion.

Let's hope not. Maybe he will have a bad day and we will run away with it. Guys like him can get frustrated and start to play really poorly. Actually Tom will do the same thing sometimes. Its not working - so they start to try to whip the ball all over the place - take tons of deeps shots and get intercepted...

He may not have a rocket arm like Josh Allen or some others but he can make the deep throws and be accurate, he's shown that a few times this year, even today he threw a nice deep ball that was dropped.

Having a strong arm has very little to do with throwing the ball a long distance.

It has to do with velocity and the tight windows you can fit it into.

Here is a perfect example of that:

so ...one doesn't have to have a strong arm to throw the ball long distances? in fact, it has nothing to do with it?? Ok...(jeezus...this cow is a moron)

Wait. Pats fans are hoping that a division rivals QB leaves their team. What the literal f*ck? What's happening?
