So, I was looking at the number of sacks that the Pats had given up. It's 13 according to Pro-Football-Reference and it sounds really HIGH. So I went looking at PFF to track who had given up the sacks since PFR doesn't readily track that.

Will Campbell - 1 sack(s) allowed
Jared Wilson - 0 sack(s) allowed
Ben Brown - 0 sack(s) allowed
Garrett Bradbury - 0 sack(s) allowed
Michael Onwenu - 0 sack(s) allowed
Morgan Moses. - 1 sack(s) allowed

Henry, Hooper, Henderson, Stevenson, Gibson = 2 sacks allowed (combined)

So, that's 4 sacks allowed of the 13.. Are they really placing the other 9 on Maye himself?

I typically only rely on PFF to track stats like sacks and snap counts at a position.

Anyone have a different site that tracks sacks?

I don't know of any sites that track the individual sacks allowed, but there are a few that track team totals.

Week One vs Raiders: four sacks, loss of 11 yards
Week Two at Dolphins: three sacks, loss of 19 yards
Week Three vs Steelers: five sacks, loss of 18 yards
Week Four vs Panthers: one sack, loss of zero yards

While the Patriots are up there in number of sacks allowed, the yardage lost is not nearly as bad (11th best/least).

Minnesota is first/worst in sacks allowed through four games (5 games for SF and Rams)

On the other side of the coin, Patriots have the fifth worst percantage of sacks:

Remove plays that did not lose yardage and the number of sacks drop from 13 to 10. Running out of bounds for no gain is considered to be a sack? Then there are four more sacks for only three yards or less, leaving us with seven - all of a sudden the number of sacks allowed doesn't look so bad. The number of big-loss plays traditionally associated with a sack isn't that high.

On the other hand the Patriots are taking sacks at a high rate when coming out of the locker room: two on the first drive of the game, and another on the opening drive of the second half.

Two sacks that result in fumbles in four games is not good either, that seems to be a fairly high percentage.
