Injury report

The Patriots released their Wednesday injury report, although it doesn't include which players missed a portion of practice because practice is currently taking place. QB Tom Brady was the lone player not present for the media-access portion of practice today.

The report:

S Rashad Baker (thigh) -- questionable
WR Bam Childress (ankle) -- questionable
RB Kevin Faulk (knee) -- questionable
DE Marquise Hill (knee) -- questionable
OT Ryan O'Callaghan (neck) -- questionable
CB/S Chad Scott (back) -- questionable
TE Benjamin Watson (knee) -- questionable
NT Vince Wilfork (ankle) -- questionable
DL Mike Wright (shoulder) -- questionable
QB Tom Brady (right shoulder) -- probable
S Rodney Harrison (shoulder) -- probable
CB Ellis Hobbs (wrist) -- probable
DL Richard Seymour (elbow) -- probable

RB Laurence Maroney and LB Eric Alexander (shoulder) are no longer on the injury report. Additions to the injury report include WR Bam Childress, DE Marquise Hill and CB/S Chad Scott. Also, safety Rodney Harrison was upgraded from questionable to probable.

The Titans' report, and any updates after Patriots practice, will be filed a bit later in the day.

no suprises pretty normal

Brady will definitely play a little. He has a pretty impressive streak going and I'm sure that they will acknowledge that. But I agree that he shouldn't play more than 10 minutes.

Others that I would like to see sit out include Wilfork, Watson, Maroney, Dillon (for the second half), Warren, Seymour and Bruschi/Vrabel for the entire second half. Plus, if any of the OL are nursing anything I want them to sit for much of it. They are the hardest to give a lot of rest to because there aren't enough guys on the roster to sit all of them.

I actually want Harrison to play at least a half because I think it will be better for him to get out there than getting more rest.

Really? No reason to "risk" Brady? You act like this game against Tennessee is meangingless. Its not. Its not like last year where we want to play the Jaguars.

You did see the helmet spearing he took, right? Maybe you could say that kind of thing can't be aggravated/made worse, but even on TV you could see the upper right part of his back cave in. Tough call. If I see him sit out, I'll worry that he's still hurting because he is so tough and almost always shakes off the injuries. If he plays, I'd worry also. Part of the game, I know.

Passing game still needs work. They'll play Brady.

Well there goes the opportunity for perrenial inactive Marquis Hill to get some play time. Saban really screwed us geting us to waste a 2nd round pick on the guy.

If it's not meaningless, what's at stake exactly?

Starting streaks are really important to players. Brady will at least start.

I believe the third seed is up for grabs. That could potentially be the difference between an AFC championship game at home or on the road.
