Injury Creates Starting Opportunity For Former Patriots Quarterback (Mac Jones)

Every stat on the defense got worse after the bye, but you blame that on Mac Jones.
They're just triggered that Brady won a Super Bowl and Bill became a total dog pile of a head coach after Brady left. So they blame it all on Mac Jones who had nothing to do with coaching this team. It's their cope.

Good example! The cult also says that ^^^ too. Pretending that some made up collaboration had a fictitious power to override the GM of this team on personnel decisions.

Somehow the cult can justify that their team-first GOAT coach didn't do what his mentor Parcells did and find another job when he allegedly couldn't buy the groceries any more.

Instead they justify him staying and installing the MP/JJ combo and his sons in his famous "no coordinator" setup, because what's a guy to do other than drive the ship onto the rocks and wreck his own legacy.

The end result is no other NFL team would offer Bill a job after a year on the market, and he and his merry band of ( edit: ) me-firsters have moved on to a new mark.

Mac threw for 3 TDs , no INTs, completed 66.7% of his passes, and had a 113.1 QB rating. If he was rated 27th out of 34 QBs on Sunday especially after how bad guys like JJ McCarthy played (no TDs, 2 INTs, completing 52.4% of his passes), it just damning for PFF not Mac Jones. My guess is you have bad info. No way was Jones ranked 27 out of 34 QBs on Sunday.

And Belichick let Guerrerro on the sideline. He was fine with it until Alex started to train other players than Brady. And at that point, Belichick banned him from the sidelines and pretty much everything other than training Brady.

And Eliot Wolf ran Belichick's scouting department. Not his. Wolf started to change that last year, but even last year's draft was based on scouting under Belichick's system. This was the first draft that wasn't done through Belichick scouting system and looks initially to be the best draft in years or even a decade.
McCarthy was rated worse. PFF was looking at protection, time in the pocket, and open receivers. Mac had a clean pocket with NO pressure at all 35 times when he dropped back. This is how they do ratings. They noted last week that Maye was under the most duress of any QB in the league. BTW the 49ers OL got the highest rating by far in the league this week. That has everything to do with the Saints as the opponent.

Did you even watch the Dynasty? After Guerrero was banned, he was brought back by Kraft. People like Amendola noted that was corrosive in the locker room.

All I know about Wolf is that Wolf was brought in shortly after Kraft said Belichick would have to alter his draft regimen. Subsequent to that, I saw a lot of hesitation in the room when they drafted Mac Jones, including Belichick saying, "Are we sure we want to do this?" Then Callahan began noting the different squabbles between Belichick and the new personnel people not only over Mac Jones but also in their preference for Smith-Schuster over Jakobi.

BTW, before accusing someone of being wrong when he quotes a stat to you, why not look it up yourself? Mac Jones' score was a 58.6 which was indeed 27th in the NFL. Im not lying to you. He was one of a handful of offensive players for SF who achieved the lowest scores for their performance. I'm not making a big deal out of it and saying he was bad or even mediocre. I'm saying PFF's numbers seem to think any QBs #s would have been good. In other words, he's no different than Skylar Thompson.

Yup. Mark indeed... what were they thinking.

Gotta love the gaslighting too. "Well MP wasn't THAT bad" Lol

It shows your utter arrogance and lack of self-awareness to suggest that it is you who is the judge of who is biased and making things up, and that anyone who doesn't have the same take on things is a hater.

It's what makes you a troll.

That's the game we write something and post it to the ether and then it's up for critique.

No I was happy for Brady and rooted for him. I even got a Bucs Brady T.

And I'm very happy with Bill's 24 years here and I celebrate it proudly without running from the few down years.

What triggers me is you consistently hating on Bill. No matter how many different ways to try to hold this fight it all comes down to the fact that you hate Bill and he lives rent free in your head and I just want to be able to post on a Patriots message board about this teams BEST COACH AND BEST QB without running into you're hate every time.

The obvious implication to me is that Bill was a Bill-first guy, not a team-first guy, despite what he preached to others.
The obvious implication of a statement like this is that you clearly don't like the guy and will make things up just so that you can preach to others.

One last one. PFF is a joke. How many times do we see on Monday one of the Pats players who had a bad game be the highest rated Patriot on their chart for that game? Happens all the time. That is the problem with these advanced stats. They look at too many variables for their own good. No way is a game where a QB gets nearly 300 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs and completed just under 67% of his passes one of worst performances in the league for that week for a QB no matter who the competition is. This is a case of over stats analysis over using your gosh darn eyes.

I am done arguing the rest. But stop using PFF to determine who performed well and who didn't. Mac Jones' performance on Sunday is a perfect example why they are crap.

You're going to have to make yourself more clear because I don't want to be accused of putting words in your mouth. But if you're implying what I think you are then how should I interpret it any other way then you really don't like this guy (and that's putting my thoughts kindly)?

Seems to me like you're making some very serious accusations with absolutely no facts to back it up.

Might be one of the most disingenuous posts I've ever seen.

It wasn't me who posted the money GIF when I asked why Bill stayed.

Poor SBB, surrounded by haters, with just him alone seeing the truth.

Nah, that has nothing to do with being a heavy stoner...

That's ok because you've now officially gone off the deep end accusing Bill of what you just did. And as it turns you're apparently worse than SB1 or XL.

You see, for the rest of us, we can see how a person can be good, then things can change, then they can be less good.

You refuse to accept that, and any of the less-than-good stuff gets labelled as made up narratives that project hate.

Perfect example is in this thread:

Proof positive that you lack self-awareness is that you write this after all the disingenuous stuff you post here such as calling people haters just because they don't see things your way.

Lay off the edibles, pal, they do bad things to your brain.

Sorry buddy you're going to have to defend your take better than that.

I've been fighting you for weeks now because you're a hater and you make things up.

You just posted an accusation that Belichick did what Parcells did and quit on the team in an effort to get a new job. And you are now fully exposed. Really nothing else for me to say. That post is probably worse than anything SB1 and XL have said and they have admitted they hate Bill. Time for you to admit it too.

No, what I wrote was Biill "didn't do what his mentor Parcells did and find another job when he allegedly couldn't buy the groceries any more".

I said nothing about either Bill quitting on the team, that is coming from your drug-addled brain.

To make it as clear as possible, the right response for a person who feels undermined by their bosses is to leave and find a new job.

I know, I've done it myself before.

If the guy truly is the GOAT coach and as clean as the driven snow then of course he can easily find another job, right?

The standard narrative from many as to why Bill installed the MP/JJ combo and his sons is that he felt undermined by the Krafts so he installed his loyalists and circled the wagons.

I'm saying he did it because he lost self-awareness to the point that he thought that it was a good idea and didn't think through how that would impact his team and his legacy.

Of course it was a terrible idea, one that he should have been let go for by the end of the season, but those mean Krafts gave him another year to try to straighten things out, a decision I bet they now regret.

Sorry if a concept more nuanced than "hater" is something too difficult for you to take on, but again, lay off the edibles.

Phew I couldn't believe you said what I thought you did. I misread, did instead of didn't, my bad. I'm just going to duck out for the day since that's my mistake but you're still suspect for everything else.

If you want to see what a 49ers forum fans think of Mac Jones they have a thread for him

Some of them are deluded lol

Dream on. Lol

It makes sense to me. Marijuana has been legal there a lot longer than here. They're a lot better at growing the good stuff, from what I hear.
