Injury Creates Starting Opportunity For Former Patriots Quarterback (Mac Jones)

Mac Jones turning over the ball did not cause the Patriots defense to allow the Bills to score on every drive in two games including a TD on every drive in the playoffs.

Stop it. Mac turned over the ball more before the bye than after and the defense gave up 17.5 points per game before and over 30 points per game after. And the defense falling apart down the stretch because a staple of this defense since about 2019.
Every stat Mac got worse after the bye, and don’t give us that BS… Mac didn’t averaged two turnovers per game before the bye. He stunk.

One game where he didn’t stink against the team with the worst overall record in the NFL in 2021 doesn’t erase those other putrid performances.

We all just have to pretend the collaboration didn’t exist or that both Bob and Bill said personnel was taken away from him. Also reports saying Bill didn’t want Mac. We have to live in fantasy land like you.
Good example! The cult also says that ^^^ too. Pretending that some made up collaboration had a fictitious power to override the GM of this team on personnel decisions.

Yup, that was all on Bill. They couldn't have been more unprepared for that playoff game than they were.

Funny how lack of preparation seemed to be a theme of post-Brady Bill.

The cult doesn’t exist… the people you accuse of being in a cult were critical of Bill when he was here. The Tom Brady fanboys think he sht gold, never threw a single bad pass amd was entirely responsible for winning.

Oh it absolutely does exist.

Another Bill cult thing to do is invent strawmen. Yup. Right from the book lol

It still justifies why he would try something similar again. And I acknowledged he miscalculated doing it at OC and that Matty P could do it as well.

See how that works a mistake but with a reasonable explanation without having to make up some motivations about intentionally tanking Mac or not caring anymore. Things that never occurred.

When you give a reasonable reason to put Patricia and Judge in charge of the offense, I might concede the point. No one thought this was a good idea. Kraft voiced his concerns about it, but Belichick do it anyway. Everyone thought this was crazy.

And your argument is a concession to the point Belichick lost his fast ball and was making monumentally bad decisions at the end of his tenure here. Putting Patricia in charge of the defense would have gotten any head coach fired. Any other one. It was that bad of a decision.

But I am done talking about this.

Jones is a backup now. That's where he's at as a QB. Essentially BB drafted a backup caliber QB at 15. Yikes!

Maybe he should have thought twice and overrode his "collaboration" which he had every right to do and found a way to get Micah Parsons in a Patriots uniform. That kind of thinking is what I would expect from someone the cult calls the GOAT.

Oh no the defense that was depantsed in historic fashion in the wild card game was awesome - or so we're supposed to believe.

Correction:

I label anyone offering a critique of Bill based on their own biased made up version of events as a "hater".

It shows your utter arrogance and lack of self-awareness to suggest that it is you who is the judge of who is biased and making things up, and that anyone who doesn't have the same take on things is a hater.

It's what makes you a troll.

And the cult - and Bill himself- will and are trying to gaslight us into thinking Bill had no freedom because of the owner and his son. Lmao. Get outta here with that.

The defense gave up more points because Mac gave up two turnovers per game and the opponents got better.

You guys are waxing poetic about Macs performance against the Jaguars, the defense forced three turnovers and gave Mac three more drives. Our RB’s rushed for 181 yards against them…. laughable.

Seems only fitting that Patricia is doing great at OSU and Bill and his crew of grifters are crashing and burning at UNC.

How does an employee override the owner?

The same Jaguars that beat the Dolphins allowing us to sneak into the playoffs that season. Otherwise your hoodied hero would be known as the coach who is called GOAT a lot but has ZERO playoff appearances post Brady. Yikes!

The haters who have kept the Bill sucks thread alive elsewhere on this site have hijacked another thread and made it a Bill bashing thread… but they’re not haters… just ask them.

I just gave you the reason.

Bill a defensive guy coached Brady in year 2 and it was quite beneficial. What other reason do you need?

He over played his hand by going to OC with it instead of QB coach. But this doesn't mean he lost it. And this is my point about making things up. You guys see something and it's not enough to just say it was a mistake you need to also add on some sort of clandestine sinister motivation or jump to some unfounded conclusions.

It's possible he lost his fastball or it's possible he made a few mistakes that could have been fixed. We'll never know because instead of giving him a second chance after Mac we fired him.

Given BBs full history not just the skewed revisionist version of just focusing on 20-23 he deserved that opportunity.

And Kraft voicing concerns is part of the problem stay the F out the way and let the GOAT cook.

The worst record in the entire NFL chuckles… but Mac was good for that one game… he just gave up two turnovers per game and completed less than 60% after week 13.

He was “good,” it’s a special kind of dumb.

Oh so it's not a collaboration now, it's the owner. Kraft ordered Bill to pick Mac Jones or he's fired. But he said ok Bill you can hire a DC to be his offensive coordinator. LMAO.

The cult really is grasping for straws these days aren't they. Understandable. Things aren't going well for their hoodied hero in college ball so that's their cope I guess.

The same Jaguars that basically got the Pats to the playoffs. Good thing. Would be kinda embarrasing for a so called GOAT to have ZERO playoff appearances post Brady.
