It's actually "I don't care...I can't stand it" We lost a game, and someone freaked out in 2014. Someone said how good the Broncos were and how unfair it was. We won the SB.

Here is the beautiful thread:
I don't care.I can't stand it!

It's even better than that.... The Pats had just come off a win. They beat the Jets 25-23 in a Thursday night game (short prep week, divisional matchup) to move to 5-2. The Broncos then beat up a disintegrating 49er team at home the following Sunday on a full week's rest to move to 5-1, and that prompted the thread.

This board is blowing up at the moment with all kinds of threads like this. I know this one is clearly a joke but it is getting to proportions that are ridiculous. Almost unreadable...

Whoever voted "terrified" apparently hasn't watched a single game this year. No idea what you're talking about.

Guys, I really think our beloved Patriots are in real trouble once the playoffs roll around. The Chiefs destroyed the Broncos, the Raiders want revenge for the tuck rule game, the Steelers have a ton of weapons, the Texans have Bill O'Brien who knows NE well, the Dolphins are a divisional foe, the Cowboys have a great running game that'll keep TB12 on the bench, the Giants beat them 5 and 10 years ago so naturally they'll win again, the Falcons have a ton of weapons, the Seahawks already beat them THIS YEAR, the Packers have the best QB, and the Lions have a fearsome logo.
i really wish you would change your avatar. i hate looking at volin.

You missed:

Scared Sh**less

...better go make a doctor's appointment.

"What seems to be the trouble?"

"It's football, doctor. I just can't handle the stress level. I mean my job, family life, finances, and health stress levels are all easily under control, but football, football has me in tremors!"

"Ah, I see. Footballossaphobia. Very common. Just punch yourself in the face every 45 minutes and you should be fine."

"That will cure me?"

"Not unless it helps you realize that you are an idiot."

Wow I had forgotten that detail that makes it 10x better

To this day I mourn having missed the OP. It appears not to have been archived

It looks like Patradomous hasn't posted since 1/22/15. That was a few days after the Patriots blew out the Colts in the AFCCG. I guess his "favorite" team being successful and making the SB (which they won) was too much for him.

I'm so frightened that I had a nervous breakdown and checked myself into a sanitarium.

Though I do realise the thread was an amusing joke, I always to find myself focusing on what the other team does well. To make the play offs you have proven you can win games, and therefore you do something well. In football, you don't get a best of three. you have one day, and if it goes wrong, you are stuck for months thinking about what could have been.

Respect everyone, fear no-one. Bring it on.

I look at it as "We're either going to win the SB or we won't"

So how does "fear" come into play?

I live in fear every day and I don't know why. Maybe you figured it out.

I, too, am scared.....of what we are going to do to them!
