If you came from the middle of nowhere, which NFL team would you support?

I came from India in 2000 and live near foxboro.Hated thetraffic on sundays for the first years and started watching this after my wife got me tickets to the game where we had the northeaster - i walked to the stadium and man it was cold and i was hooked.

i have never seen them win a superbowl as i did watch them till last year.

Imagine that your family were from country x with no interest in Football and no previous links whatsoever to the US. Which team would you start supporting?

This was exactly the case with me 3 years ago. Living in central Europe our sport channel started to show (American) football games. I didn't know anything about the sport or knew any of the teams.
But one of the QB-s played with my favorite number #12, so I started to cheer for that team, which actually turned out to be the New England Patriots.

The "middle of nowhere" is subjective of course, many would call my home that,so i'll say the Patriots!

I live in the bigsky state... the last best place.

I always favored the Pats.

Most of the people here either love:

1. brokebacks.
2. seachickens.
3. cheese packers.
4. purple people eaters (vikes).

5. would be the cowgirls...

I can't even figure out who the brokebacks are.

I would have to say the Cowboys because of the cheerleaders although lately I must say that the Dolphins cheerleaders are superior to the cowboys cheerleaders the last few years

I have a friend from Belgium and I asked him what his favorite teams were.

Him: Patriots, Yankees and Lakers.
Me: You moved here in 2001, didn't you?
Him: How'd you guess?

Regards,
Chris
