In the Senior Bowl practices the only guys that seem to fit the mold are Alphonso Smith from Wake Forrest and Ellis Lankster from West Virginia. Lankster has some serious sleeper potential.
A lighter Lankster scales the ladder as a pro prospect

MOBILE, Ala., Jan 21, 2009 (The Dominion Post - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
He estimates he's spoken to 10 teams since arriving in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, including the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.

Google "Dominion Post lighter Lankster" for the complete article.
I can't post links yet.

Good find. Seems like a solid day two sleeper pick for BB's packages. Here's the article:

A lighter Lankster scales the ladder as a pro prospect

"He really came into his own his senior year as a cover corner," Senior Bowl president and CEO Steve Hale said. "I think he has a lot of upside. He's a guy who has a lot to gain this week. Ellis was a guy who just started jumping off the tape at you. Game after game, he was making big plays and, as the season progressed, he emerged as a legitimate cover corner for the NFL.

Isnt it time someone starts penciling these guys onto the roster(joking)......and someone else compares them to Richardson and Lua?? Every year there is a pet project that rarely works out. These guys are higher picks, they have more athleticizm, but one thing BB requires....you gotta make it on the field. You cant make the club from the tub.

Crable showed some promise in the preseason. He had a couple sacks and one pick. I think he'll make a Lamar Woodley type impact next season.

so we should be expecting 11.5 sacks from crable next year?
