If the Pats trade Garappolo for Cleveland's #12 overall, who do you pick ?

Unless someone backs up the truck for Garroppolo, I see no real reason to make a move at all. In theory we can control him for 2 more years, that strikes me as a poor time to make a trade of a quarterback when the team is going into the season with a starting quarterback who's about to enjoy a cake with 40 candles on it. If someone wants to pay us handsomely to take that risk that's one thing, but without that kind of incentive, I don't go out of my way to outsmart myself like that if I'm a football executive.

Sometimes the very smartest move to be made is not to make a move.

To keep Jimmy in 2019, you'll need to commit close to $40 million to the QB position.

It's all about value, if we keep Jimmy on the roster for another year then we won't get anything for him since he becomes a free agent, I'm sure BB has some plans and we will know about it soon.

My thinking is that we take the 12th pick from Cleveland and move down and stock up drafts.

If Cleveland decides to be stupid and they take Watson then there is a good chance the Bears gives us their late round pick and possibly a 2nd too for JG.

Would prefer to trade for the Brown's first rounder in 2018. With a 2017 4th.

Give me number 1 then draft the pass
rushing beast

I seriously ask Jackson one question a rookie QB or a QB who has learned from the best QB and COACH to ever be in the game.

The NFL will take away our highest 4th round draft pick this year in the 2017 draft. At least I am 95% positive about that.

If Chicago offers us pick#36 and a conditional 2018 pick based on the following:

Jimmy qb's Bears to 6 wins we get a third,
Jimmy qb's Bears to 8 wins we get a second
Jimmy qb's Bears to 10 wins we get a fist

Do you think bb pulls the trigger on that deal?

Yep, unfortunately that is the case. If the Pats get back a 4th round pick this year it will not be higher than the 32nd one of that round.

Probably not. I would want a 1 and 2/3 for JG.. or a really high 1. Bill spent a 2 on JG he is getting more than a sure 2 / 3 for him. I could be wrong but I think Bill gets the value of a high first rounder for him.
