I think we should discuss the scenario due to the strength of the class or lack thereof that possibly no team is interested in trading up to 4th overall

If Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter are already taken, who would you select and why?

I think Mykel Williams and Shemar Stewart are both firmly in this conversations

I think I’d choose between one of these, Will Johnson, or Tyler Warren. I’d probably take Williams because of the attributes and young age.

*edit* Also, RLKAG.

I don’t follow the draft like I used to. But what I do know is that the Pats can’t screw up this pick. If they do, they’ll be picking there again next season.

I think Vrabel will go defense - probably D-line/Edge.

i like williams too. I did not want to listen every option and leave some space to disuss.
Williams reminds me a bit of the walker selection where athletic attributes and projection lead to the selection over hutchinson.
With the right coaching I can see williams end up as a top 3 edge rusher out of this draft.

i think it makes sense to use ressources in the trenches in the draft as the FA class seems weak if jackson/stanley resign and DT/edge seems like a strength of this draft class.
i don't beliee the pats will be able to fill out their needs in FA

In this scenario I think I'm leaning towards Will Johnson.

This draft kind of sucks. Unless 2 QBs go top 3 somehow we've found ourselves on the folcrum of what someone would actually consider a top 5 pick and the rest.

Johnson at least gives us a chance to set up a position that can be a true strength and something to build around.

Warren or draft Golden early.
Maye needs weapons, in the past we have patched together an offensive line, with Brady throwing to Gronk, Welker, Moss.

Players that can get open, yac, be game breakers is as valuable as a good tackle.

Question is Tet more Mike Evans or Nkeal Harry?

I think Golden and Warren will be better than Tet.
Yeah I'm not sold on Tet either and I actually switched my answer to Will Johnson. Lol all I've really learned this combine is that I want Hunter way more than anyone else even Carter. Then I want Carter. And lastly there is everyone else and in that group I'd be OK with Johnson, Campbell, Tet, or even Jeanty.

Thoughts on Warren?

I'm all in on Mason Graham at this point. Safest pick. He's a culture guy (insert dead horse gif) and they need a lot of that.

Thoughts on Warren?
To be honest I haven't really considered TE. He looked great in the playoff games I watched. Since this thread is a no trade down question I'd say no to Warren at 4 but I'm open if we trade back.

He won’t make it past the Jets.

Graham is off my list after he weighed in at 295. I think they will take Campbell if they can not trade down

And then you add Milton Williams and chase young.. now you've got yourself a a defensive front that can be disruptive.. I really want to know what's Vrabels thinking on Tavai... as Landry is in play.

I think Wise, and Tavai are gone.

I sense that too LTD... I'm thinking Landry gets here he essentially pushes Tavai out. Wise I'm guessing he won't be back unless it's a depth, veteran minimum signing.
