I missed the "none of the above" option which is where my vote goes

My bad. I should have added "none of the above". I was just trying to spark a little bit of conversation from fans who might have some concerns regarding the Jags. While I am counting on a date with the Colts next week, I don't want to take these guys for granted. It seems like Pats fans and Colts fans alike, are looking past their respective games for the anticipated rematch!

I would say special teams. Maurice Jones Drew is a good returner.

Then again, if we are kicking to MoJo, that means we must be scoring as well, so nothing at all is the correct answer.

I'm out on an island. The only one who voted "Jags Defense".

But my reasoning is simple. Who is the one player we can't live without. = Brady. What is the only way we lose him - if the Jags defense beats the line and puts a bad hit on him.

It is still the nfl and any given sunday can happen, .....
the ball can bounce in a funny way, .......
the refs can allow moss to get mugged and not call OL holding when the jags run the ball......

but I think we all agree that as long as brady is on the field the Pats win this matchup 8 or 9 out of 10. They are a dangerous team so maybe not by much points a lot of those 8 or 9; but they still should win.

Everything until the game is in hand.

I am worried about NOTHING

Maybe worried or concerned are the wrong words as it makes the ego's inflate, the chests come out and the defiance automatically overlooks the talent.

Respect may be better. I respect what they bring on the ground. It's physical and dominant, aswell as explosive. If you dont respect it they'll beat you. Same goes for the jags fans, if you dont respect the talent and execution your a fool.

where are the "nothing" or "not enough food for guests" options?!

All of the above worry me, but I was forced to pick defense. They have a bunch of physical guys that will be getting in every cheap hit they can get. As John Hannah pointed out yesterday, the Jags are old school, they want to knock the QB out of the game, and HIT HIT HIT, even their secondary is simply a bunch of power players. It's not the "bigness" that everyone keeps focusing on that matters, it's the physicalness, the toughness, that old-school Raiders mentality.

That could, in a worst-case scenario, wreak havoc with our passing game. We don't want to have to rely on Maroney (though it worked fine against the Jets).

That said, the team that will be most likely to be complacent is the Jags: they are getting ****y listening to the pundits talk about how they have the perfect team to implement the "blueprint." More bulletin board material. And there is no way Junior Seau will let his guys get complacent on defense. And Brady knows how big a game this is, they all do. Belichick has been hammering them all week with humble pie and bulletin board fodder. The Pats will be amped, come out all five guns blazing, pumelling the Jags overwhelmed defense with confusing routes and formations.

So, while the Jags defense matches up against our offense pretty well (probably better than anyone), the less tangible factors will nullify them:
1. Coaching. We win hands down.
2. Home field advantage pumps up Pats and decreases number of offensive penalties.
3. Experience. Brady is tried and tested. He and Moss have a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Predicton: Pats 27 Jags 21. :rocker:

I'm worried that if I drink a beer every time the Pats score I'll pass out like I did during the Bills game.

poor tackling and those freaking broken plays which happen to us in every game.

the only thing that can stop us from getting another lombardi are the zebras. as long as we keep the margin of victory big, we will be fine
