I feel good about the Pats chances on Saturday and am predicting a win by 10 points, 27-17, but to assume that Jacksonville will roll over is foolish IMO. If there was one aspect of the game, which one would you be more concerned with?

A flat performance is my biggest concern, as I believe a Pats team that is on and ready can overcome everything else. With a bye week, they need to come out strong and score quickly to dictate the game to the Jags. I prefer to see them shut down the run, put some points up, and force the Jags into a passing game. Let's see if we can get the turnovers up with some passes thrown under pressure and tight coverage.

If we lose, its because we beat ourselves.. The jags cant match up to us..

None of the above.

I think if right now you could know one statistic from the final game that would give you the most insight into the result, it would be points off turnovers. Patriots are favored, but this is the national parity league. It doesn't take much to turn that around.

Can their defense put points on the board for them? If yes, they can win. Particularly if they also get a big return or other big special teams play somewhere along the line.

I went for their running game. I can't really see a flat performance from us. Theres too much at stake and too much experience and talent, In my opinion of course.

Only thing that worries me is potential injuries. The Jags don't worry me at all.

I chose "Flat Performance", which includes: shoddy tackling, soft coverage, ineffective pass rush, abandoning the run, dropped passes and inconsistent pass protection.

But mostly, I worry (as I always do) about injuries.

I missed the "none of the above" option which is where my vote goes

I'm most worried about a power outage a couple minutes before game time.

Understood. And it's not that I expect a flat performance, it's just that of all the things that could be an issue, that's the one thing that could put the Pats in a hole. As a veteran team that has been in many big games, dealing with this stuff has become almost second nature. The other possibilities don't concern me.

You know I came in to this thread expecting to chose something, but after looking at each option I realized I honestly have nothing to be afraid of.

We will force Garrard to beat us, not happening.

i went too for Jax running game; i hope we will stop them of course

I choose "none of the above."

Do you guys respect anything about anybody? How can you honestly not be worried about our running game? There have been several teams putting 8 in the box all year and still failed to stop the run.

You saw what happened when the Persians underestimated the Spartans

dude, maybe pats fans are just a little better grounded in reality and football than some others.
I predicted they'd beat washington by 30 and all these 'skins fans got all pissy and insisted that the incredibly punishing physical washington d would be unlike any ever seen by the pats to date.
they thought picking the pats by 30 was some hugely arrogant dis.
I think it was a pretty good pick, if maybe underestimating the pats a little, but I'm a little conservative.
just because you can't recognize the talent on the field doesn't mean the rest of us can't evaluate it.

maybe the persians needed bill belichick.

The Jags running may be the most likley thing to happen (of those options), but that doesn't mean it is a concern. It is more difficult to sustain drives with a running game, leading to more punts and field goals, neither of which the Jags can afford with Brady slinging the 'skin down the field. My biggest worry is Brady getting into a car accident driving to the stadium. I hope they send a driver.

I'm most worried about a power outage a couple minutes before game time.

Anyway, I'm not really worried about any *one* thing beating us. The way for the Jags to win is for pretty much *all* of those things you mentioned to go their way.

Okay I wasn't worried about anything until I saw this post, now I'm worried about a power outage at my house. My beer will go warm and my TV WON'T GO ON!!! AAAHHHHHHH!

Running game but I fully expect it to be a non factor and have faith that our guys will be able to stop them effectively.

Major injuries, nothing about the Jags. The Pats WILL NOT come out Flat.
