After winning tonight.

Which would you rather

I think it would be more badass to go into Denver and win, which Brady never did (in the playoffs). But I think it would be easier to stay at home, and pretty satisfying to eliminate the Bills after that last egg we laid in the second half.

But honestly, let's get past the Chargers this whole thread is by definition looking past the next game. Let's get a single playoff win. Getting that first playoff win can be tough, so "pray for Maye" is my mantra. Reminds me of this ill-fated thread:

Of course the more difficult route (Denver, Buffalo, LAC, Jax, Houston) team-wise would be more impressive, but quite honestly; I’m down for whatever matchups help us get to the Super Bowl & hoist that Lombardi. Even if it’s a hypothetical scenario where a favorite gets eliminated & we happen to see Pittsburgh, then Jacksonville in inclement frigid weather. Whatever works…Let’s win this one tonight first. Go Pats.

This poll is a day early…..

Bills and Steelers winning this week

Which means we'd then be hosting the Steelers next week then (ideally the Bills win) hosting the Bills in the AFC Championship game

That gives us the easiest possible game next week and the only realistic way I see Denver losing (to the Bills, don't see the Texans and certainly not the Steelers picking them off)

something that maybe be interesting to only me... graphics borrowed from Draft Kings... i will give it back if they ask nicely...

we have played 6 of the 7 nfc playoff teams in the Super Bowl already...

I could see why that might be beneficial but I'm very afraid of the Texans. I know Stroud is still erratic but they're talented at the skill positions.

I'm betting on Rams or Seahawks to be in the SB.

For Pats - it'd be best to have Steelers next, then beat Bills at home.
But I actually think Texans will win, and Broncos will outdo Bills just due to attrition.

Steelers then Bills.

Steelers > Bills > Seahawks

Don't really care. It's the playoffs, we will play some hard teams no matter what.

This weekend played out exactly as I'd hoped.

Pats win! (The obvious top priority)

But If was happy to see the Bills win too......for a couple reasons (one is not so popular)

1.) We face the winner of the Steelers/Texans (which is in my opinion is better than the Jags)
2.) IMO the Bills have a better chance of beating the Broncos (than the Steelers/Texans) which gives us more potential for a home AFC Championship game
3.) I know this will get a rousing set of 'boos' from this crowd, but if for some reason the Pats don't go to the Super Bowl, I'd actually rather see the Bills make it than the Broncos, Steelers, and Texans
