I do not get these kinds of feelings/premonitions regularly regarding our Pats and am relatively conservative in nature regarding my predictions on the pats in general. But I am getting these weird vibes that the Pats are going to win by TWO TD's this weekend against Balt!!!!! I think the crowd will be the twelfth man this weekend. I think the FIRST time Deion Branch (ok I have been a fan since about 70' and am well aware what Branch did back in 2006) catches a pass from Brady....they AND MOST OF US are going to go NUTS!!!.....and then he will several more....and it will carry over to the intensity and confidence of the ENTIRE team......and we will spread the O out.....and the D will get pumped up........and will build on what they did against Miami.........and in the end.....Pats win by TWO TD's..........I think the combo with Branch coming back home to NE with Brady and the continuing "coming together of our defense and special teams", and the effect all that will have on the CROWD (and any of you going to the game please go EXTRA NUTS).....will create an unbeatable energy and intensity.........Again, I do not feel this confidently in Pats games normally.....But I FEEL IT this weekend......and if I am wrong....I will come back here and take my medicine and admit......It must have been the chili I ate last night, and the lack of sleep I have gotten due to extra hours of work.........I will come back here either way....GO PATS!!!!!!.....and Welcome Back Deion!!!!!!!!!

Ive had the same feeling, its so strong i don't understand why most everyone is picking the ravens or saying its going to be close. On the predict the score thread i put down 30-13 Pats. But since i'm superstitious i also think by putting it out in public could be a Jinx.

I know this Offense can score and almost score at will. What I want to see is the evolution of the young Defense. Special Teams have improved out of sight this season.

I foresee:

• BB mixing at least two defensive approaches. One will be bend-not-break, and the Ravens will run on it pretty well. The other will be stouter against the run, challenging Flacco to exploit it. That one could go either way.
• The obvious offensive plan -- mix a lot of short and intermediate passes, and take a few shots downfield. Whether those downfield shots work is of course pretty important to the outcome of the game.
• A quiet day on STs.

If Tate has a big day -- in either or both of two phases of the game -- the Pats could win big. But more likely is a close one.

I also see a Patriot win, but perhaps not a blow out like the OP. I see it a bit different though. I actually see a "let down" game from the Ravens a bit. The Patriots will play solid, but I think the Ravens (who've had a few "up" games these last few weeks) struggle a bit.

Not on D, mostly on offense. I don't worry about our O much though, I think this offense can score on anyone. Moreso then it could with Moss. Brady HAS to use his options. I think the Ravens O struggles a bit and Flacco has his worst game of the year.

I think it would be fantastic if more than 60% of the fidelity club seats were filled during the game. Maybe it will happen if they run out of wine and cheese.

I have hated Deion's ass for the last 4 years over the way he shot himself out of town, but I have to admit after hearing his interviews on EEI and on Patriots All Access, he seems to have matured and he seems focused on resurrecting his football career.

My premonition:

1st play from scrimmage.

Pitch to Deion Branch and Branch throws to Brady but it gets called back because Brady's ineligible.

Don't know where I'm channelling this from, but it's strong.... very strong and vivid

But seriously I've got a pretty good feeling about this one too.

They've got the revenge factor going for them, a new look offense that at the very least makes the previous years of game tape somewhat less relevant - and a ton of dink and dump pass options.

I'm confident in our offense and just hope the Defense can rise to the challenge.

Well, that worked pretty well last week. By all means, do it again!

I feel like the team needs a statement game and that's funny in light of the Miami game. But I still feel like they do only because this was one hell of a bye week and there have been some changes (to say the least). Lots of people thinking they gave up the season. How can you not respond to that? I really hope this is a statement game of sorts. I don't need it to be 30-13 or anything, just a solid win in which everyone plays mistake-free football and steps up to make big plays.
