I for one am thankful that the Patriots aren't in the Super Bowl.

Couldn't they have rigged up a HD plasma screen in the delivery room? Imagine bringing a child into the world and the first thing he sees is the Pats in the SB, even if it looked a little blurry. Talk about imprinting!

Congrats, husker!

Mrs. CTPF is a veteran of 3 C-sections (soon to be 4). Recovery is longer, but she said it gets easier each time (for her, not me-I'm a nervous wreck every time). Good luck!

I'm sure IF the Pats were in the Exceptional Hemispherical Vessel, you'd (I'd) find a way to watch it!

You can put down your troll beating sticks. We are scheduled to have our second son tomorrow at 12:30 central time. I'm pretty happy that the Patriots aren't in the super bowl as I probably won't be watching a whole lot of it.

Happy birthday and groundhog day

Congratulations on the birth of your son and I pray all goes well, that mother and baby come through just fine.

Not thinking you are a troll, just extremely self-centered. If I can't watch it, I'm glad no one else can either.

So are you also glad they didn't 3-peat? "Yeah, the Pats didn't set the NFL record by winning three in a row, but I'm glad they didn't. I would ahve had to miss part of the game, and it was worth it to me for them to miss out on the record. Hopefully I'll be able to watch next year's superbowl or I'll be rooting for the Colts/Broncos/Steelers/Phins to beat them in the playoffs."

Man, I'm glad the Pats aren't in it either. It is awesome seeing Seahawk and Steeler fans take over my area (they're in Ann Arbor, too!) I just love the daily reminders that the Super Bowl is being played without my team in it. It really is awesome. Go out of the office for lunch? Pack of Seahawk fans. Go downtown for a hockey game? Seahawk and Steeler logos everywhere. Renaissance Center? Big ol' Super Bowl logo on it. Yes, life is awesome without the Pats in the Super Bowl. I'm glad that when the local team and their idiot owners sell out and build a domed stadium for the promise of 1 Super Bowl, that it can be a year that my team self destructs and misses out on history. Being the host city rocks!

Congratulations...there is no finer joy than raising a child.

BTW: Put his season ticket application in now...perhaps when he reaches 18 he'll be at the top of the list.
