I'm still very fond of the 76 team as it was the first "great" Patriots team. So much talent, probably more than any other Patriots team, and Chuck Fairbanks was the BB precursor.

Roughing the passer. Worst loss until 2007. Loved the tuck rule revenge game.

But it all fell apart in 78. I was actually at the 78 playoff loss to Houston (i.e. the Titans) in Schaefer, shivering on the aluminum bench and bummed as hell that Fairbanks was leaving...
Yeah. Think about those gawdawful aluminum seats, and the Sullivans, and then think about whether or not Kraft is really such a poor owner.

Please just give me a Dikembe post in this thread so I can know what a tear in the fabric of spacetime is like

OK I'll play too. how da hell do you lose at home to the 5-11 dolphins? fire Belichick ! Also now that Kraft will be heading to prison, time for a new owner who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and re-sign Antonio Brown.

My first home game was 81. They lost. One of 14 that year lol. I was 10. I remember there being a lot of fights. In the stadium and in the parking lot

Misery loves company....so does ice cold piss flavored beer.

I’ve been ice fishing many times, and there was the Boston Marathon of 2000 where the temperature was about 60 when it started but with wind chill near freezing by the finished I thought I had hypothermia but there has been nothing compared to being on those damnable metal benches and the losing that would get you as bone chilled and miserable that you could understand the shirtless brawls that would occur at near every winter’s game.

to be fair about the aluminum benches ... if they had any sort of padding, you know it would have been lit on fire eventually...

Those metal bleachers.....my god.

No ice fishing shanty? Tent? I refused to ice fish without one. I'm a wimp

Would have been nice to see Brady play with a superstar WR in their prime.

I mean like a Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Mike Thomas. Even an AB who was a 5th round pick. The Steelers drafted Emanuel Sanders and AB in the same draft.

A public service announcement for those that may not be aware of the humor involved in the thread title (and a stroll down memory lane):

I don't care.I can't stand it!

Brees was such a standout that he was never voted league MVP!
