I couldn't be prouder of this team right now.

And thanks for responding. Considering the circumstances with the incredible amount of injuries, I don't look at the team as a disgrace for this game. I also don't consider the team far superior to Philly under those same circumstances. The 35 straight points at our house against the backups to the backups proved that. Maybe scott99 was correct that some of us are spoiled.

The disgraceful part of the performance on Sunday has nothing to do with injuries. That stupid pooch punt by Ebner up 14-0 had nothing to do with injuries. Screwing up the blocking assignment on a punt and allowing a defender a free rushing lane to block the punt had nothing to do with injuries. Brady throwing a pick six into really tight coverage on Amendola was not because of injuries.

And people have to stop this "some of us are spoiled" crap. I have been labeled by some here as one of the biggest homers on this board and even defended them last year after the KC game when most of the fans had given up on them. I was even positive after the Denver loss because they fought so hard even with the injuries and the refs being against them.

I haven't given up on this team. Believing Sunday's performance was disgraceful doesn't change my belief that this is still the best team in the AFC if not the NFL when Gronk, Hightower, and Edelman return from injuries.

I am upset because the margin for error for HFA was very slim and now they go from controlling their own destiny to needing Denver and Cincy to lose to get it. I am upset because the Pats were clearly the better team on the field on Sunday and they gift wrapped the victory to the Eagles with stupidity and poor execution on a handful of plays. They didn't just play down to their opponent. They played beneath them.

My disgust with Sunday's performance has nothing to do with being spoiled. If they were outplayed, it would be one thing. But the Patriots had the game in hand and they gave it away with stupidity. And not just one stupid play or call. It was a half dozen to a dozen. That is disgraceful.
