The only reason this one even registers on my give a damn scale is all of the things that appeared to be going the patriots way. Home game? Check. Bye week to get healthy and come up with brilliant game plan? Check. West coast team traveling cross country on a short week? Check. Opponent appears to have significant weaknesses that can be exploited? Check.

Think of it this way if that game had been in Seattle would it bother you even a little bit? For me the answer is no because it's out of conference to a damn good team and losses happen. The other guys get paid too. Just gotta take your hat off to the Seahawks cuz despite everything they had going against them they brought their A game and deserved to win. I still think New Englands A game is better but that's not how they played for whatever reason and there is no shame in losing to a team as dialed in as they were. Does make you wonder how it will play out if they do meet on a neutral field later in the season if the pats can't win with everything possible going for them but in the grand scheme of things this loss changes nothing for the season.

Seattle has been a top 5 team since their run started. Their tough, smart and deep. No shame in losing to them. We really have to stop caring about other fans and "****y" players when we lose.

The Patriots are like the U.S. Everybody has something to say but always ends up admitting we're the best. And just like the U.S. every team's success is compared to us. Which again means at the top right now and only compared to other teams with 4+ titles.

Just gave you a big internet grundle hug. I let out a big sigh and made sure not to stick my hips/butt out so you know I'm committed even if its awkward.

Just a regular season loss, but it still hurts. I hate Seattle, and their ****y prick LOB. I guess it's because I'm more upset with the defense and how Seattle exposed them. I don't care what some say, losing Chandler Jones and Collins was a HUGE downgrade to the Pats' defensive line

Our offense had the chance to tie the game, with first and goal and plenty of time on the clock. They blew it.

But everyone on this board is freaked out about the defense......

Pats are still the 1 seed right now. When BB and Brady are gone, many will realize how spoiled we were to watch the two greatest of all time. I'm enjoying the ride because I remember watching every game when the Pats sucked and used to get excited if they even got to play in a Monday night game

So true.

I remember when the Pats would have a good year and at the end they would need to win a winnable game or rely on another team to win to make the playoffs. Most seasons neither would happen.
