JJ isn't getting squat from anyone for Romo. He has no play because everyone knows he's eventually going to have to cut him.The Texans are not interested in TRADING for Romo. They are still, however, very interested in signing Romo after he is released.
Apparently the Texans are not interested in Romo (no surprise as he stinks).
Would we do Jimmy G for Hopkins
One big signing, some good trade bait on our roster and suddenly everyone goes silly with their trade ideas.

Ok, but what if "we" traded Cyrus Jones and Mike Williams for the #1 overall pick? That would be a fair trade, right?
even if JG is the next Aaron Rodgers if you trade him to the browns they are still 3 years at lest away from being a team that can make it to the SB.
but if he is even half as good as he was in the 6QT's of play and no reason why he would not be in the same system Houston would now be the #1 team in the way of the pats getting to the super bowl. so for that reason alone i would not trade him
A QB that has potential to be team starting QB for minimal 10 years.Hypothetical, 24 year old Hopkins plays for the Patriots. Only has a 7 mil cap hit right now. Averaging over his first 4 years in the league; 80 rec, 1122 yards PER YEAR.
What would this forum be saying about his worth in trade for a QB with only about 6 Qtrs of NFL playing time?
A guy who plays is worth more than a guy who doesn't.Not even close. No way. He's worth more to us than Hopkins. And high picks need to be at least part of the deal.
