Just a thought:

While cancers can differ widely, they all have one basic idea in common: a loss of the normal checks and balances on growth and cellular reproduction.

OTOH, embryologically, the kidneys and testes arise from the same type of cells (for the science nerds, they're both mesodermal).

It wouldn't surprise me if the Solders were just unlucky, and had the same mutation which resulted in testicular cancer in Nate and Wilms' tumor in Hudson.

I have a soft spot for sick children. When my daughter had her three heart surgeries, I was an absolute wreck. Get well soon little one. And strength to you, Nate. You are good people.

Kids main priority should be what toy they're going to play with. Not health issues.

Also hope everything is much better with your daughter

Pray that everything goes well and the kid is back to his regular life soon.

Brutal to hear/see children going thru this. Went thru some horrible days when my girlfriend was diagnosed with a slightly advanced stage of breast cancer; couldn't bear watching the children at the cancer hospital. So, I can't even imagine being in Solder's shoes to watch his young and innocent baby going thru the treatment.

That said, it was heartening to read the prognosis posted by others in the first page. So I am very positive that everything will work out well and our man is back to guarding TB pretty soon.
