Jeff Howe says Mason made some excellent run blocks in preseason games, and didn't suck as badly at pass blocking as one might think.

He needs to slowly learn how to play Center as well. I fear Stork won't be able to shake the concussions. In the draft he was listed as a Center although I don't believe he's played the position. Anyway after 8 games or so, he'll be fine at LG.

Hey, if he really is ready, that would be awesome. It's either a rookie at LG with Wendell at C, or Wendell at LG and a UDFA rookie at C... Or, Kline at LG and Wendell at C... So any one of these ways, you're starting a potentially bad player. Makes sense in a way to at least develop a guy with live action along the way.

Think the Pats are being extra precautionary with this. IMO they are doing something that I can see happening in the future where if a player gets a concussion they are placed on a concussion list (in the same vein as DTR list) and sit out games even if they pass the protocol.

He has a history of concussions in both the NFL and college. Im worried about him so I'm sure the coaches are really worried about his long term health. Stork is an excellent player and when healthy is a 10 year starter type player. Hoping this DTR is more of a precaution to make sure he is good down the stretch but don't like the looks of it from where I'm sitting.
