How to pronounce Adalius Thomas's name?

When Thomas did his first interview on WEEI, they asked him how his name was pronounced. He said it was pronounced Adalus...the i is silent.

Almost every commentator says Adalus, but its pronounced the way it is spelled isnt it adalius, like adaleeus?

The correct pronounciation is: Adam Thomas.
