I can’t believe he’s almost 70, that makes me feel old as hell. I wonder how much longer he’s going to coach? Nick saban just turned 70 and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Maybe in the future he will do what the Celtics did. Remain the GM and hire a separate coach. Who knows, maybe he will do it for another 5-7 years.

After he passes Shula with 49 more wins.

He loves NFL history. Being at the top of that list matters to BB whether he admits to it

I'm no fan of Don but with how BB has been so dominant for 20 years, it is kind of impressive for Shula how BB still needs 49 more wins to pass Don. Counting playoff wins what is this, at least another 4 seasons? Hope BB can stay healthy.

To get 49 wins he will need 5 to 6 more years. Considering when you’re that age 5 to 6 years could represent the majority of your good years left I’m not so sure. This year will be big. If he sees a team that can compete for a SB in the coming years maybe he stays. Macs development is key.

Will be a sad day when BB steps down, not looking forward to crap teams ala Denver'10 and St Louis'11 when BB leaves.

Hoping the GOAT coaches another 7 or 8 more years....it's tough enough as fans losing one GOAT.....wouldn't want to him to leave for a while, not until he coaches Mac and this team to another few titles!!!!
OT - new avatar? IT'S A SIGN!!!! Playoffs for sure! :haha::thumbsup: Also, congrats for whatever the big event was!

Thanks Waxie.....I finally received my masters degree.
Wow, big-time congrats then! What's it in, if I may ask? Last OT comment, I promise, but why not toot your horn a bit more? Pretty big deal! :haha:

Well, Shula did it over 33 years, so he's got a five-year margin there. Give Bill 5 more years and he'll be right up there.

Keep in mind those win totals for Shula include the playoffs (where he was 19-17 btw).

I actually believe this is Bills last year with us. All the FO people that were brought in to collobrate with Bill will be running things next year. Remember Kraft knows when Bill will leave so I see this off-season as preparation for Bills exit season end. I believe Josh will be the HC. Now that we have Mac, I think Bill will feel good about leaving.

I do think he goes somewhere else though.

There's absolutely no chance he starts over from scratch somewhere else at age 70.

He just recently backed off the idea of retiring at 70.

I kinda feel like he will because I think before he considers retiring he'll be like a year away and at that point it would be kinda dumb not too.
