Come on Aus, this is one time an 'off forum topic' is worth its own thread isn't it?
I gave up on the game after the Leafs scored #4 but kept watching (though not intently). After goal #3 I still thought it was over but had that "can this actually happen" thought? Then the equalizer so quick after #3... Wow! Now beat the tar out of the Rangers!

I think it was the most exciting Boston sports moment since the 2008 huge Celtics rally in game 4 against the Fakers.

I gave up on the game after the Leafs scored #4 but kept watching (though not intently). After goal #3 I still thought it was over but had that "can this actually happen" thought? Then the equalizer so quick after #3... Wow! Now beat the tar out of the Rangers!

Of course it's worth going off topic for. It was a magnificent come back that was almost the epitome of an epic collapse. Let's hope that quarter of the third period intensity is brought for more than a couple of minutes every period by the Bruins. They were magnificent when they needed to be (especially their puck movement)!

Wait.... So you have been here for essentially 2 and a half years with "5,880" posts. That averages out to almost 7 posts per day for the past 2 and a half years. Yet you didn't once notice the Bruins Topic under "Other Sports Forums".
That's like living in a house for 2 years and not knowing it has a backyard. I mean c'mon. lol

Hah - -I've been a member three years (and lurked many years before) and also have never seen the Bruins page. This forum is my bookmark for PatsFans.com, so I don't explore much. (beyond the draft forum a few months of te year).

I think it the run to the Cup in 2011 this "main" board had a nice thread during the finals ... seems appropriate enough to me in the off-season.

Quite a game last night. Seems like every time I checked in on the B's this year they were blowing a lead or giving up a goal, so I figured maybe I was jinxing them. Maybe that's been reversed.

As for the photo of the Leafs fans above — tempting to bust on them, but have to love all that passion, especially from a Boston perspective. When the Leafs went up 4-1 and they showed that crowd I thought, "well, that will be a nice story going forward." Would have been, but glad things went the way they did.

At 4 to 1 I almost gave up. Then I thought of the Pats last minute game winning drives, and the Sox ALCS comeback vs. the Yankees, and Pierce's 3 point buzzer beaters. So I gave the Bruins a chance and they wrote history.

I don't watch hockey (though my dad did try to raise me as a Bruins fan, it just didn't stick), but that's an EPIC comeback. Congrats!
