Ravens...... I want to beat the best opponent

The best opponent will be the Super Bowl opponent, should the Patriots get that far. All else will be irrelevant, IMO.

I tried to start my own thread but because I am new it would not let me(not even sure if this is allowed)....I make my own shirts out of my house and just made a new one for our New England Patriots. Heres the picture....

GOOOOOOOOO PATS(AND CELTICS)

I want whichever team gives the Pats a higher chance of winning next week. I'm undecided as to which team that is.

I've never been one of these guys who want to "beat a team at their best", or "give them payback". Find the easiest road to a championship and take it.

To be the best, you have to win all your playoff games. There's no requirement to beat the best. The Patriots were the 'best' team in the AFC last year. The Packers didn't refuse the trophy because they didn't face them in the Super Bowl.

Give me the soft run to the title, every time.

Could be Ed Reed's finale as well

good candidate for Belichick's shadow roster. BB thinks he's the best safety ever. Coming off PUP and coaching up Dowling and McCourty, our newest safety. Yes please.

Also the city of Baltimore will implode if they lose their long awaited home playoff game which has been the decade long excuse.

Some second thoughts about preferring the Texans.

The Texans slopped their way into the playoffs late in the year, putting up several shoddy performances.

But, one thing about them that's concerning is that they are long on the defensive line, and can bat around lots of balls. Brady has had troubles with defenses that flood the zone and rush 3 or 4 big guys. Watt seems to like batting balls down a lot. It presents a wild card situation.

May be better to take on the devil you know in the Ravens, but ultimately, the Texans performance over the year speaks volumes. They are in an incredibly weak division, and they did not have a great regular season.

cool...how much are you going to pay me to buy one of those???

The calculating fan in me wants the Texans because our chances of a win are much higher; however, the passionate fan in me wants revenge against the Ravens for the game two years ago. I want them to completely destroy them.

'Zactly It's not about beating the Dirty Birds it's about winning the SB and should our boys get there it's going to be a tough game. I STILL get the willies thinking about the Gints.

A Houston game might be more interesting than we think but if we get the Birds then so be it. The Pats will be ready for them (and their big mouths).
