Is the Lamar Jackson Patriots buzz a real thing?
Really don't want a QB taken by NE this year but Lamar Jackson is the most mature QB prospect available it seems with freak running ability and smarts, definitely be interesting (Decent passer too, has to improve)
As can I, his vision and run ability can really be electricI can certainly see that B.B. (maybe McDaniels too) will like the upside and it’s not like he’ll be a starter for three years at least. I had written off Jackson previously, but the more I think about it, the more I can see it. I can see McDaniels doing stuff with him.

Truly, his only flaw is his lighter frame and accuracy
Absolutely, strong arm as anyone but inconsistencies with accuracyThe lighter frame isn’t an issue because we wouldn’t be expecting much for three years, the question would be whether he can fix his accuracy. He does throw some lovely balls at times
Wouldn’t drafting him at 1 be ideal though, to try to time it with Nrady’s retirement? Fifth year option and all?I wouldn’t want Jackson at 31 but I could live with the pick in the 2nd round (just about).

"No worries on the 40," one head coach said. "He'll get it at pro day. Interviewed him. He's got something special about him … Build your offense around him. Leader."
