#UPDATE: Bengals' Adam Jones arrested overnight on multiple charges including spitting on an officer: http://on.whio.com/2iKz8Tf

7:02 AM - 3 Jan 2017

You can kiss your NFL career goodbye.... what a toolbag.

Good grammar in the thread title!

Idk about that. It's the bungles. They have another thug at LB

Since the Ray Rice fiasco, teams have had a tendency to immediately release players upon assault charges. Heck, even Floyd was let go on DUI charges. In ****man jones' case, I can pretty much guarantee his career is done. An arrest in and of itself is severe enough, but this douchebag also assaulted police officers, spat on them, and resisted arrest.

Having watched my stepdaughter struggle through her neurological challenges, which included outbursts of violent and rude behavior, to no fault of her own, I tend to be fairly forgiving of impulsive or radical behavior in others.

Human brains are remarkable things. I've only had one, but from what I have seen, they are highly variable. A pudding of chemicals, wiring, and electricity. The purely theoretical idea of "free will" that we hold dear to our hearts may be entirely a mirage. It will be a long time before we know, if ever.

We have no idea what this guy has to do to control himself every day. He may be putting more effort into it than most of us, but with bigger challenges. Or, not. There's no way to know.

Thanks. Too easy for people to make blanket judgments. "Thug" - "how many years till he's dead?" etc. Your post is a breath of fresh air recollecting that NFL players are humans who, in addition to the standard suite of human mental ailments, have also spent their formative and adult years damaging their brains.

No, this logic doesn't excuse everything. It explains some things, though - and is perhaps applicable in this situation.

Also - this serves as a reminder that the police end up with their hands on a vast majority of the nation's mental health cases at one point or another usually to the detriment of police officer safety. Not a desirable means of dealing the societal ills surrounding mental health issues, in my opinion.

The proper use of "whom" still escapes me. Not that I've made any legitimate effort to better understand it...

Subject = Who
Object = Whom

Or, perhaps, he's just an asxhole:

Pacman Jones: I'll apologize to Antonio Brown under this 1 condition

Oh, and he was #8 on this list (ahead of Mike Tyson and OJ Simpson), but it is 4 years old already, so he may have moved up a few spots:

I dunno, a bridge is a classy place to find him dead under.
I was thinking the same thing. Crack house or alley behind the strip club would be more like it. Or maybe he will surprise us all and be found dead in the bathroom of a gay bar.

Marvin Lewis just received a vote of confidence from the owners in Cincinnati for a job well done.. wonder if the team assigned parole officers agreed??

How will be tell the children about Pacman??? Is the "integrity of the game" an issue here??

Sorry folks, until he's diagnosed with a neurological disorder I believe Jones to be an irresponsible, disrespectful, violent man.

Just another pretend tough guy who couldn't stand on his own two feet if his life depended on it.

He wouldn't last 5 minutes in the real world.

I'm sure Marvin Lewis will be wiping his ass 10 years from now.
