KC's problem is their team hasn't been good enough overall to win superbowls on a consistent basis. Mahomes is great, possibly the best QB in the game but the run game, OL and defense are streaky at best and there are only so many times Mahomes can beat defenses by avoiding the rush for 4-8 seconds and finding someone. Even in the lone superbowl season they could have easily lost 3 of their 4 playoff games. Pundits seem overly wowed by the (definitely) spectacular plays that Kelce and Hill make but in the long run they and Mahomes can't string enough plays together.

He is absolutely NOT the best QB in the game right now; and his OL was very much improved from last season, e.g.: Thuney & Tre Smith courtesy of Little Bill, and Creed Humphrey courtesy of the fudgePackers, so that one's no longer a valid excuse.

I thought that game was one of Mahomes' worst and I don't recall another like it.

And I think that playoff runs are going to be more difficult now.

Who you like in the SB? I'm a huge AFC guy and I also like the Bengals. My wife was friends with a former Bengal SB player, who tragically passed away many years ago. I definitely would like to see them win it all this time.

One other thing that fans don't realize (or care about ) is that an AFC win would re-tie the SB record for the conferences. It took many years to get that tie only to see Brady get dumped and win one for the NFC last year. A win would also tie the season's record between the conferences.

I think the officials have swallowed their whistles in the playoffs. We'll see if that continues in the SB.
