Should be fun...

Bloody hell.

Should be alright. We've got 5 running backs with the skills to get Randy, Wes and Tom dry towels between plays.

We may have to run the ball against the falcons weakened run-D. Nah, they'll be expecting that.

It will also be raining heavy in Giants Stadium. Probably more beneficial for the Jets as it will slow CJ down.

I, too, expect this to be more of a positive than a negative. 5 RB's to cycle through, and 3 tight ends plus Edelman, Galloway, etc. All they have to do is get 3.5 yards per play, and we should be fine.

I can get into a good grind it out running game and let Welker and Moss rest.

great, sounds like the perfect time to bring a couple of 4yos to their first game :help:

Maybe we should pass 50 times.

Only kidding (I hope).

Everything is setting up for a good running game.

I've always wondered if there are drawbacks to playing your home games in a dome. It would be great for the Pats to get out to a lead early on. Make the rain add to the Falcons misery...

Somewhere in the New England area, Michael Turner is looking out his hotel room window with a big grin on his face.

The game rests on his thighs.

BenJarvus breakout game?

let's run the football ! Go Pats !

Which of our backs are the better mudders (although there won't be mud, just rain)?

QB12

If it's slippery, then I'd have to say Faulk. He has the quickness and foresight to get those extra couple yards. Just treat every down like it's 3rd down...

Some folks would go for a good pounder, when it's raining and slippery, and try and bulldoze the line, but if you have a smaller, agile back, then it's a LOT harder for those big honkin' linemen to bend and twist enough to stop him.

A good game to try Matthew Slater as a kick returner.

I think that this along with Moss and Welker's injuries are just God's way of telling the Pats they need to run the ball.
