On March 12, police received a call from Doug Davis, the founder and president of the Numismatic Crime Information Center, a nonprofit that tracks stolen coins and currency. Davis told police that he was aware that coins were reported stolen from Gronkowski’s home and he’d posted an alert and received a response — and as it turned out, a coin dealer in Weymouth had them.

The 3rd suspect, Shane Denn of Tewksbury, was apprehended in Maine.

Any reports how police caught up with Almeida?
The vague timelines in these news reports seem to indicate Almeida was apprehended before the second suspect, Tyrrell (the guy selling the coins), turned himself in.
Simply based on the limited info in these articles posted here, my guess is police questioned Tyrrell about his coin sale, Tyrrell confessed to police and gave up names, and police delayed his arrest while quietly pursuing Almeida.
Tyrrell's bail, $1000, seems low and may reflect his level of cooperation. (just thinking out loud).
Suspect #3, Denn, sounds like a living breathing crime spree. I'm disappointed Denn gave up his true identity so easily after his arrest......where's the honor....the code?
