Or he was/is banged up and if he can just get healthy then he'll be Gronk again. He has always played so physical and dealt with his share of injuries so tough to know if this is more of that or if he is truly breaking down.

I think it's a combination of both alot of Teams passed on him in the Draft because of those previous back surgeries.

Gronk has played plenty this year and clearly looks cooked

I’d be shocked if he ever returns to his GOAT form or anything close to it. He was being single covered by mediocre players earlier in the year. His return probably won’t open up the offense much, and it will lead to Brady forcing the ball to Gronk as he is prone to doing

First three games:
.. Hogan, Dorsett, Patterson are the only Pats WRs + White + Burkhead (part time)
.. Gronk (healthy) = 13/17 (76.5%), 189 yds (14.5 YPC), 1 TD

Wks 4-6:
.. Edelman & Gordon added to WRs, Burkhead OUT (IR)
.. Gronk (ankle injury) = 13/18 (72.2%), 216 yds (16.6 YPC)

Wk-8:
.. Gronk (ankle & back issues) = 3/8 (37.5%), 43 yds (14.3 YPC)
