Gronk: arm injury

Hey, if y'all could plan to jump off the same bridge, that would really help people plan their morning commute to miss that traffic.

I wanted to see him play so bad when I go to the Houston game hope it heals fast!

Between this and last year we should call him Glasskowski.

Just figured I'd beat the Chicken Littles to the punch.

don't worry...tomorrow is a work day...all the Usual Suspects will be here posting hundreds of "fire Bill!!!" messages because Gronkowski was playing in a blowout....oh wait...so was Brady...and Welker..and...agghhhh....who cares...we all know what to expect.....here's my contribution to the board in advance

better then a broken leg, players have continued playing after breaking a arm, rodney harrison comes to mind.. wasnt terrell owens playing 2 weeks after he broke his once?
Rodney played ONE play in SB38 after breaking his arm on the previous play, and he has described that last play as feeling like when he pushed an offensive player that he felt the bone snap. Not exactly the precedent we are looking for.

Are gronkowski and Hernandez ever going to be 100% at the same time?

hopefully if it is a break...only out a month...even if he is out 6 weeks..he would be back for playoffs

sit him down then...so the little Nancys here can cry like the baby girls they are...then F-Stomp the Rats in their house... Gronkless...then we will find out the next target for the Wailing Wall that infests this site and be prepared for the hundreds of "I KNEW IT!!!" idiots proclaiming doom and gloom again..

I disagree. Revel in the fact we now receive near real time injury information on players, from which we can anticipate missed games relying on complete and accurate disclosures. I thought this organization was tight-lipped about injury updates, but we now apparently find ourselves in the brave new world of open access to player condition. Sheesh.

hope hernandez is ready to go...if not...lets go Visante

Yes, it's broken. Happened on the last PAT, according to Schefter.

Maybe they can now sign Samantha Gordon.

The way he plays and how tough he is injuries are bound to happen

BTW we won a Super Bowl with Jermaine Wiggins playing tight end. As long as we have Brady the offense will be fine.

and why do people think he's done for the year? I broke my arm when i was 15...took about 4 weeks until i was good to go for contact

Rapo just tweeted:
Early word: Gronk has been informed that the initial timetable is 4-6 weeks with his broken forearm. Not good, could be worse.

guess what play he did it on? The last extra point...

And the complainers claiming the "offense can't close out games" will be complaining about players hurt while closing out a game, and how that approach reflects the ineptitude of the head coach.

According to Curran, the broken forearm is likely keep Gronk out for the rest of the regular season (probably 4-6 weeks, could be worse).

Hopefully he's as wrong about this as he was about Brady in 2008/9.

Unless it's snapped in half he will be back with a couple of games of the regular season left at the latest.
